I love wreaths! I'm certain this doesn't come as a surprise since I've made four of them in the last month or so! I found some gorgeous pictures as inspiration for my wreath obsession.
I plan on going to Home Depot again this year to get the tree clippings for my decorating projects. In case you didn't know this, the store will give you them to you for free since they just throw them away! It's really a great way to get fresh greens and save some money. I bought some wire forms so I can make a few fresh wreaths myself.
Love the simplicity of these two with the white and green.
I purchased some silver ornaments at an estate sale to make one like this for our door.
One I made last December with my pine cones. If you missed out on my pine cone obsession last Christmas just type "pine cone" into the search box at the top of the blog!
Pulled this one from my files from last year, love it!
I'll be back with the shutter screen I promise. I ran out of nice weather and had to bring them in the basement to paint. I'm hoping by Friday!
Hope you are well, thank you for taking a minute to visit!

p.s. pictures from Country Living, PB and me :)

I just bought some
things to try and
make one of Mr. Mead's
paper wreaths! I
haven't made fresh
ones for a while ~
I usually buy them
from Trader Joe's and
then embellish. But
now you've got me
thinking....!

Susan, I hereby challenge you to a wreath-making duel, which I'm sure you'll win, but what the heck! I can't wait to check back to see your beautiful creations in the next couple weeks.

I love these! I'm a wreath girl too! But I haven't made my own yet. You're giving me the itch to try it though. And thanks for the Home Depot tip - I didn't know they did that and I have a few spots that I usually buy fresh greens for - you're the best!

Oh how I so want to get some fresh wreaths this year. I saw an amazing one the other day but worried it would look like a dried up mess by Christmas so passed on it.
My holly bush is just waiting to be clipped as well...I always use fresh holly.
hugs my friend.

I would love to make a fresh wreath here but living this far south it's so hot. I think it would not make it more than a few day's outside. I loved all of your inspiration :)
