Sometimes the little things are the sweetest. The kids are on vacation this week and I treated them to pancakes & homemade cinnamon syrup yesterday morning. They loved it!
I found the recipe at See Jane in the Kitchen if you love to cook check out her awesome food blog.
5oz can evaporated milk.
1 cup sugar
1/2 light corn syrup
1/4 water
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon (could probably use 1/2)
Mix the sugar, corn syrup & water and bring it to a boil stirring for two minutes. Take off heat, let cool for 5 minutes and stir in evaporated milk. It made enough for all five of use to have pancakes and there is quite a bit leftover, probably enough for at least another sitting probably two.

Have a wonderful day!

Oh man! I made pancakes the other day and ran out of maple syrup, if I had been caught up over here I would have been able to make this instead (and I even have all the ingredients on hand)! xo ~Lili
