About a month ago I was asked if I like to be interviewed for a new local morning show as a local blogger/Etsy shop owner. Honestly, me & TV in the same sentence is kind of funny. I could barely get through my public speaking class in college. I nervously accepted their invitation and the crew came to my home to tape an interview.
A few weeks ago the producer invited me back to tape a two segments. Remember the table setting I shared with you last week? It was one of the projects I shot at the station to air later this month.
So last Thursday with a lot of stuff in tow and the help of my wonderful Dad I taped the two segments. It was fun. The time just flew, 3 minutes goes so fast. I wanted to get some photos with Alli, the host and the studio but we were pressed for time.
Once they air locally the station will put the segments on their website so I can share them with you too! If you are local, I'll be sure to let you know when they will air.
Here are a couple photos with the flowers in place when the table was setup in my living room.

I used wax flower, button mums, hydrangea and gerber daisies. I wanted it to look as if you went out to the garden and picked flowers, nothing too formal. My grandmothers tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl were the vessels for my flowers.
I thought vintage luggage would be a fun unexpected place for guests to drop their cards for the bride and groom. The moss "D" tucked in and the invitation personalize the idea. I lined the suitcase with some flocked vintage wallpaper since the interior of the case didn't go with my color scheme. I borrowed another case from Meg and stacked them on my grandmothers luggage rack.

The table was set with favors too. Pocket mirrors made with vintage sheet music tucked in vintage bags, tied with twine and stamped with the couples initial.

This was so much fun to put together. I also made tissue poms and bought these beautiful lights from Target (thank you Stephanie!)but we were unable to hang most of it. I plan on setting a table under the lights in my backyard once it warms up a bit.
I want to thank Abby again for sending me the menus and invitations for my table, they made such a difference! And my sweet friend Carol for lending me her wood folding chairs for the shoot!
Thank you so much for visiting, see you soon. It wouldn't mean nearly as much if I couldn't share this with you all!
